Broken wheat and Rajma Dosa

Dosa is very popular snack or breakfast item from south India. Traditionally dosa made with rice and urad takes lot of time and patience.but i got this recipe from my sis-in-law; since then i prepared frequently in my house Try out this easy and no fermentation,healthy breakfast or snack item.

Prep time:4 hrs
Cook time :30 minutes
Recipe type: South Indian
  • Broken wheat(daliya)-2cups
  • Green Moong Dal-1/2cup
  • Chana Dal-1/2cup
  • Rajma-1/4cup
  • Methi ( fenugreek)seeds-1/4tsp
  • Salt-to taste
  • Oil   

Wash and soak dals,rajma and methi seed in water for 4 to 5 hours.
Soak broken wheat in another bowl for 4 to 5 hours.
After 4 hours,drain the water from dals, broken wheat and rajma.
then Grind them to a smooth batter,add required water while grinding.
pour the mixture into big bowl,Add salt and mix well. Batter is ready to make dosa.
Heat a tava or nonstick pan, add a ladle full of batter and spread it well
All around with the back of  ladle.
Drizzle some oil all around the dosa and let it cook for minutes or two minutes.
Flip it and cook the other side also.
Serve hot with coconut mint chutney and samber.
